Castiel Is Dead

This is my very first Enterprise rewatch post. I'm going to experiment with a few different styles of recapping. Today I'm going with a bare bones style with a minimum of caps and the notes I wrote during the episode. "Broken Bow, Part 1" is the episode of Enterprise that I've seen the most so I don't really have much to say about it.

There comes a point during every summer hiatus that I start fearing/dreading the next season of Supernatural. It's struck again this year, and I think it might be the worst I've felt yet. Some of it has to do with the uncertainty brought about by a regime change. Some of it has to do with the possible spoilers that've been floating about. Most of it has to do with the fact that I know they aren't going to do what I think they should do.

Today, one of my friends is being induced since she's over her due date. I'm looking forward to meeting her daughter, but all the waiting that's led up to it has been interminable. And I get to do this a few more times. My youngest sister is pregnant and due in about three months. My bestest friend since forever is due in December. I'm surrounded by babies.

This really only serves to point out that it looks like I may not have children. It's not because I don't want children. I just want to be at a point in my life where I like who I am and I like what I'm doing before I brought a child into it. It wouldn't be fair to me or the munchkin. I figure until then, I can just be the best auntie/godmother ever.

Day Twenty-Eight: Your Favorite Season Finale
It's always going to be "Devil's Trap." We get Bobby for the first time. There's an awesome scene between Dean and Meg (who I miss soooooo much). YED!John is the sexiest thing to ever happen to the show. And of course, Semi + Impala = OMGWTFBBQ *flail*

Today's my birthday and it's been awesome. My mom made me a Stonehenge cake and decorated the house with pics from Stonehenge Apocalypse. My dad delivered me yummy, yummy food. I will be getting my birthday present from them (Batman: Under the Red Hood) in a couple of weeks. And cho_malfoy made me a super groovy birthday post and Jared as Doctor Who icon, which is cooler than all other icons ever. Oh, yeah. You wish you had my life.

I assume this means fave season premiere. I will go with "Lazarus Rising." No particular reason Pamela's hot, just 'cuz.

Oops. Almost forgot to post today. I went to California and back this morning waaaaaay too early, so I kinda ended up all fuzzy and sleepy for the rest of the day.

Day Twenty-Five: Something That You Wish Happened But Didn't
Sam and Dean bodyswapping. I'm sure Jensen and Jared would have had a field day with that. Or hell, Sam and/or Dean bodyswapping with a girl a la "Turnabout Intruder" on Star Trek. I truly think they wasted the opportunity of their bodyswap episode. They didn't even have Sam do an "Oh, boy" (in the style of Sam Beckett on Quantum Leap) when he saw his reflection. That episode was just fail on so many levels.

Day Twenty-Four: An Episode You Wish Never Happened
I don't really have any episode that I don't want to exist. Even the ones that I hate have their upsides. Like "Route 666" had nekkid sexytiems!Dean. And "Abandon All Hope" has the introduction of Crowley.
